The friends to lovers theme is the best yet in my opinion. I love all that sexual tension and the unacknowledged chemistry and Accidental Sex Goddess really does not disappoint in the slightest.
Reese Regan has just lost her job and in order for her to land another one, she has to enroll in a self esteem course entitled Sex Goddess 101. Reese doesn’t think going through a ‘makeover’ is worth it just to further her career but after seeing her co worker talking it up to a curvaceous blonde at the bar one night, she decides to go for it.
But it isn’t only Mark Hawk who gets bowled over by her transformation. Mark’s brother Ben has been in love with Reese ever since meeting her all those years ago and after a failed attempt at a relationship Reese and Ben agreed that it was better if they were just friends. Well, neither of them wanted to be just friends but neither of them had the courage to do anything about it until the Sex Goddess (her new boss) made Reese into a knockout. But what Reese doesn’t know until it’s almost too late is that it wasn’t the clothes or the new haircut that made Mark or Ben take notice, it was her newfound self esteem.
But both Reese and Ben have secrets that could destroy their newfound love. Can they entrust that their fragile new relationship will withstand the truth?
Combined with this theme that I cannot get enough of, Lexi Ryan has written remarkable sex scenes that were truly steamy. Now, they really do not have sex until later in the book but the interrupted sex scenes where they almost consummate adds an additional mind blowing element to the plot.

Accidental Sex Goddess is a fun, funny, sexy and heartwarming read. With Reese who does a great job at being a promoter hides her insecurity in her own self worth with snarky comments and to big clothing. Ben is Reese's best friend, he is attracted to Reese but is afraid to take the step beyond friendship. Add to the mix "Hawk" Ben's older brother, a sex goddess seminar, phone sex and a bubble bath and you get this charming read.

I found Reese easy to relate to and I love Ben and Hawk and the sibling rivalry, I thought that Ms. Ryan did a fantastic job showing multiple sides of each character and each plot point. I loved the friendship that Ben and Reese shared and watching the feelings that had always been there surface and evolve. I think that there could have been a couple fewer misunderstandings on the parts of both Ben and Reese but overall it was a smooth read that I read from beginning to end in one sitting.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Reese and Ben are best friends. Through tragic circumstances that is where their relationship remains. Until Reese signs up for a Sex Goddess training course. Reese and Ben make the best of friends. Their chemistry leaps off the page. The scenes are believable, any girl could feel like Reese or any couple could have their conversations. In fact, their banter reminded me so much of my own stud of a husband when he's flirting with me. This book gets five out of five stars for me.
