This book was absolutely amazing. Not only was it adorable, but Rachel Lynn Solomon made this deeply personal book so relatable. Ari Abrams is not the happy-go-lucky person she appears to be on tv. She struggles with depression and has her whole life.
I love that Russell is more than just a sports reporter— he’s kind, supportive, and just the epitome of a teddy bear. Ari and Russell have scars and aren’t perfect— which just makes this romance even better.

The one thing I wish is that we got more from their relationship. I wanted more development and to see them work through their pain. I do love that Ari wasn’t immediately “cured” as well. Falling in love doesn’t rid depression, and RLS did a great job of showing that. Thank you, Rachel, for sharing this story.
