Look, I REALLY wanted to love this one and there was certainly a lot of 5 star elements in the book. The relationships and the sex especially with our cast of sapphic characters was spot on, EXACTLY, what I have been looking for.
But.
There were also lots of things in this that irritated me. The diet culture references were RIFE I don’t think we got through a chapter without any. The mental health representation was a bit hit and miss with some OCD references I didn’t like, there was really casual drug use and I don’t think the author did the beautiful setting of this country house in Devon much justice!
However
I am willing to give the author another try, maybe a later published book.
