What in the toxic, emotionally manipulative man?? Tf??
Character development, period.
This is my second favorite of the series, the first book was my favorite.
My emotions were all over the place in this book.

Even know I liked the steamy parts better than the previous books , I didn’t like the whole friends to lovers and I ofc would never take him back idc that he had excuses or whatever the concept for me was just not it.
The main character for me was slightly annoying and the king was a straight up jerk . Imagine a frat boy in the horde that’s him whatever it worked out so good for them I got bored of their story but the way that author writes is always nice and as I said I did like the steam

I’ve been really enjoying Draven’s Horde King series. I think that of the ones I have read so far this one is my favorite!
In this Horde King book you’ve got a young girl who was left behind with a broken heart. Now she’s older and moved on, but the man who broke her heart is back and he wants her.
The history these two characters had created a fun twist to this weird. It brought lots of interesting emotions and layers to the story. Getting their childhood background made such a satisfying build and culmination of their relationship. I’ve also been loving the the build of the interconnecting plot of all the other books. It’s keeping me hooked and guessing.
