I'm in love with this story. Since I haven't heard a lot about it on social media, it feels like it was written just for me, which is the greatest feeling. I would say it's a cozy read, but that wouldn't do the story justice. It doesn't lack stakes, and all the characters are fighting for something. But still, it feels like you are just hanging out with the characters. I love them all - even Kat. After reading the acknowledgments though, I'm not sure I will be able to survive the last installment...

I really enjoyed the multiple mystery elements within this book. It made the read very engaging and I was always curious to know what would happen next. I also really liked all the magic and possession that was part of this book as well it added a darker tone to the book that I really liked. I liked how intense the end of this book is and it does have a cliff hanger ending which the author really seems to enjoy writing and is kind of expected at this point.
