I did enjoy this installment, but it was a bit too predictable.

I enjoy this series of short reads a lot, especially if I am just looking for something light to read. They are short stories of a little Kentucky town filled with drama and death.

On that particular note, this particular book is slightly different than the others I have read in the series so far as it takes time to build the story. The story revolves around wedding planning event in which one of the people in the wedding party is found with a knife in the back. The past of the main character along with another character is essentially tied in with members of the wedding party, which makes the book a little more interesting.

The reason for the five stars is because for a short-light read this book was very entertaining and it is not easy to guess who the culprit is in this story.

Valleys, Vehicles & Victims is the 9th instalment in the Camper & Criminals mystery series . I am always anxiously awaiting the next book to come out as I Just LOVE this series! Once again we were transported to “Normal, Kentucky” and Happy Trails campground. I must say this might be the best instalment yet!

What a fantastic read, kept me guessing till the very end. Its full of personality, humour, non-stop action, and plot twists which keeps you interested till the very end. The quirky characters are as fabulous as usual, rallying to help each other. I liked how we had a glimpse into Mae’s childhood and hope we find out more in upcoming instalments. These characters have become like family and i just wish I could actually visit Normal Kentucky and hang out with them for a day.

I cant wait for the 10th installment in this series, I highly recommend this to cozy lovers.

I requested and received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my OWN.

Again, Mae West solves a murder with the help of her friends from Normal, KY. His was a fast paced book and fun to read. The small town of Normal in a national forest is such a cozy read! The romance between Hank and Mae is picking up!
Onto the next cozy mystery!

Another fun little cozy where Mae and her Laundry Club buddies not only solve a crime, but clear a good friend's name.

The best part of this installment is the made up name of Moonbucks for a specialty coffee shop. M-O-O-N spells Starbucks. Any Constant Reader will know what I mean.

Coffee competitors, wedding mayhem and murder. Knowing a murder was inevitable, I immediately started searching for possible suspects. (Though the crime didn't take place until about 60% into the book.) And suspects there were. A few coffee shop owners, all fighting for something different. A wedding that can change everything, for all those involved. Theft, secrets and lies.. and a little hit & run. We don't see as much of the crazy antics that Mae (the Protagonist) and her gang usually perform in this book. (We don't really see too much of those side characters at all... given that there are quite a few guest stars to keep us occupied with.) While there are many suspects, they all revolve around the coffee game. (And who will be the new King/Queen of Coffee.) There are a few laughs here and there, but for the most part it isn't all that comical. (Due to the lack of shenanigans.) The story moves fast. It's easy to read and reads quickly. It is clean and safe for teens and up.

*I volunteered to review an ARC of this book.
