I normally enjoy listening to memoirs but I really was just bored silly. I don’t know anything about this guy so maybe that’s why.

A fascinating story of a life well lived.  Keith McNally came from working class roots and through personality, charm and intelligence created a restaurant empire that is frequented by the rich and famous.  He befriends many of them and his relationships with the likes of Jonathan Miller, Alan Bennett , Anna Wintour and Woody Allen give a sense of the range of his interests and enthusiasms.  The account of his stroke and its debilitating effect on his physical capacities is honest and clear-sighted.

Definition of an unreliable narrator, yet I couldn't stop.

I agree with almost nothing this man asserts, and am often frowny at what he has to say. But it his story to tell, so pop off, I guess.
