I enjoyed this novel, it's story line was at places disjointed. But I felt a deep sense of excitement through-out. As time and time again we see Robinson Crusoe fall into the same bad habits, only to seek repentance.

Kurslitteratur. Ja men vad säger man?

An interesting tale, it must be said. Slow in part, but it certainly proved to be an wonderful thing to listen to as an audiobook (c/o Spotify).

The most telling aspect of the relationship between Friday and Robinson comes near the end, with "I called my servant, not my man Friday, for he was better employed... but, as I said, I called my other man". It seems to show that despite the camaraderie, at the centre of it they really were just master and servant.

I wouldn't have expected this, during the middle, but I do endeavour to read the next part some time in the future.
