Every story made me smile. I'm so thrilled I got to dive into one of my favourite authors' minds once again.

Really, three stars. But if you picked this up you are probably already a fan of STP, and this is a good way to see How It All Started.

There are clever ideas, and these early stories are competent. They just don't have that extra spark of the later ones. Frankly, nor did the first couple of Discworld books, which are a step up from these and still wonderful.

For completists, really.

It's always a joy to read Terry Pratchett's writing. It always leaves me in a happy mood afterwards.

Fantastic book of previously undiscovered short stories by the great man Sir Terry Pratchett. The stories are all brilliantly fun & give some peeks into what would later develop into the Discworld series
