Another fantastic read. What I love about the 2 books I've read of Ms. Dessen so far is the crazy cast of secondary characters. They add so much to the story, and they're all so vibrant and intriguing, and you really feel for them too. LOVED Kristy, Monica, Bert and Delia!
This book hit a bit close to home with the loss of Macy's father so young. I could relate to some of the grief she was going through, having lost my father at 14. It was hard, and yet so real, to watch the whole family struggle in different ways to cope...and eventually to finally move forward a bit in their grief by the end of the book.
The relationship between Wes and Macy was definitely a highlight. I LOVED how they played the Truth game and asked really intriguing questions and didn't shy away from one another. What a great way to build a relationship. I loved that while there was definitely sa-woon crush moments, it was built on friendship first. But holy wow, Wes was da bomb. I want a Wes...
This book had so many perfect moments for me, it was just a treat to read and kept me up late into the night finishing it.

2021: Sometimes all you need is your favorite book to remind you why you love reading. All the feels with this one! Wes will always be one of my favorite book boyfriends!
2016: This will Forever (pun intended) be one of my all time favorite books! It flows so nicely and you are constantly wanting to keep reading to find out where Wes & Macy end up, and the ending just leaves you so satisfied and content! Sarah Dessen does such a nice job of keeping you on your toes but also giving you what you want with her writing. Love, love, love, love this book!

This book was SO GOOD! I wish they either had a book two or made the book just a little longer so I could fully picture how it all played out. But otherwise it was AMAZING
I really liked this book. The main character was a little annoying in her lack of self-esteem, but she learned. :)
3.5/5 Stars
I have mixed feelings about this book, and I may upgrade the rating to 3.75 or 4 stars at a later date.
I enjoyed reading this book. I read a large portion of it while listening to New Hope Club, which was a very different experience but positively impacted my reading. I liked the character growth and the way grief was portrayed and dealt with in the story. I also liked her love interest and how he portrayed a different side of dealing with grief.
However, some of the “positive” aspects of Macy’s new life included underage drinking, and I didn’t like how it was portrayed.

I could not put this book down! Sarah Dessen is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Such a great story, well-developed characters, and a nice open ending where everything is wrapped up but not too wrapped up.
