I didn’t hate it, I just wish there was more of something. Idk. The men in this are *chef’s kiss*. It is a duo so I’m hoping the relationship advances and feels more cohesive by the end💕

DNF-ed at about 73%. I got bored and stuff got a little repetitive.

There was nothing happening development wise in terms of her old pack, her father, or the OMA trying to find her and neither was there a lot of interesting movement on the guys side to keep me happy while I waited for the plot to catch up. Like, at least during the lull I stopped at if there was something going on with the guys- dates, connections, hang outs, job shadows, whatever or if the FL found something to do with her time- nest, cook, hike, be in the presence of her guys (she doesn’t even need to talk to them, just hang) but there’s nothing. I mean, not nothing-NOTHING but not enough to keep me going either.

It just got… boring. Cute enough cast I suppose. FL is nothing particularly captivating. Knox felt like the worst connection in the pack and therefore like the author gave him the most POV’s to make up for it at the end. But yeah. “Meh” overall.

While it was fairly basic, I enjoyed the story within this book. It followed the same pattern a lot of these books do. I did find that I liked the actual writing a lot, it generally felt mature and I wasn’t annoyed by the characters.

While I wasn’t surprised by the kidnapping at the end, I was more distraught by it than I typically would be because I know how bad pack silver is and I don’t want Demi to be mixed up with them.
