Good story

I liked the whole train event- creepy as it was. I feel like we are finally heading somewhere with the over/arching mystery that is Emma’s life. I loathed the side flashes (?) or whatever they are called, to others. I figured out who I think a couple of them are, but still, I honestly just skip most of it & skim at best.
Hopping right into the next one!

This series has kept me interested. Emma's tenacity keeps me engaged as does the fear of whatever tragedy is coming next or which secret is going to be exposed.

AJ Rivers has done it again with The Girl and the Deadly Express. The series continues to follow FBI Agent Emma Griffin. Mystery after mystery unfolds. I didn't want to put it down.

Struggled to read.

Didn't really drag me in until half way. The back and firth chapters were annoying and I just wanted the book to end. This person following her needs to be revealed already. ugh. On to the next one I guess

Confusing

The back and forth between past and present was confusing. It took away from the main plot on the train. It would make more sense to have a book dedicated to the past and the events leading up to it. But otherwise I did enjoy the plot on the train.

This one was confusing at points but overall was good. The ending on the train was so so good!

After 5 books I'm starting to realize, I like the initial investigation of each story, but I'm not so into the bigger story about her mother and father. I think with all the code names and players involved, I'm getting confused. I'd like for that to wrap up soon.
Emma receives a train ticket. Things happen, people get murdered, Emma needs to figure it out. I really liked the train escape room thing the story had.
