loveddddd it, it is very formal and outdated language. edit: I thought the letter in the bottle was a sneek peak of a different book and almost didn’t read it. THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD.

Oh. My. GOD.

I understand now why this is Agatha Christie's most famous work, because holy shit. She took a simple premise -- ten shady strangers stranded on an island, each one systematically murdered according to a children's rhyme -- and somehow managed to leave my mind reeling to catch up!

Kudos to the Queen of Mystery. I was genuinely baffled by the whodunnit and even more baffled by the outcome of it. Can't wait to read more from her!!!

If you like any of Agatha Christie's previous work you'll love this. Moderately fast-paced (as in it does not hesitate to dive into the action as soon as the introductions are done) it's an easy read best enjoyed in one go with well written characters that feel real. As an added bonus it's also one of the few Agatha Christie novels you can successfully guess the killer/killers for by using the clues given in the text.
