Not her best. Without giving it away, this book was altogether too predictable, I mean, the ending was a bit of a surprise but I had mostly predicted the entire thing. I absolutely LOVE her books but I felt this one was ‘meh’.

Okay... I liked it. I ripped through it because I wanted to know who the real killer was, but there were a lot of places I got frustrated with the narrator. She let's us know something dramatic has happened, we're on the cusp of finding out who said what etc and she pauses to go off on a tangent about mac and cheese and how she wonders about cheese sauce production. I don't care about the 40 previous cheese sauce recipes, Brooke. I want to find out about what your son said to Tim.

SPOILER

I was also semi unsatisfied with Shane's mother being the 3rd party. I actually would have found it more satisfying if Shane and Tim were both telling the truth all along and Marcus was the killer.

A lot of plot holes but they were easy to overlook with how engaging the story is. Think Friday the 13th meets Scream.
