Honestly, probably a quite authentic perspective for a 14 year old boy, which is why I chose to overlook some of the ableism and sexism - this is sadly how boys talked when I was in school. I found the plot entertaining, but in some ways it is also very much that: a book about two teenage boys going on a roadtrip for a male audience.
