Stuck between 2 and 3 stars, going with 3 because of the plot twist at the end…

Wow I hated Leeds. I was excited to read a book from this author from a male POV but this man was a piece of shit. I don’t want to include spoilers because I want y’all to read this review and proceed with caution, but damn. I knew there’d be cheating from the excerpt on the back of the book but the entire concept was so frustrating.

With that being said, I found this easier to read and get through than ‘Reminders of him’, which is still my least fav book from this author so far.

That has to be one of the weirdest stories I have ever read. Technically, my first ghost story also. I will say that this book isn't super scary in the traditional way. It is just weird and paranormal, but there aren't any jump scares.

So, if you're looking for a book to get into ghost stories, then you should give this one a go. I really enjoyed the ending, but everything up until the ending was just weirdness.

I read Verity and wanted to read more from this author…This was weird though. I finished it because I needed to make sure I didn’t judge it before getting the full picture. There’s something about using someone else’s body without their permission that just doesn’t do it for me. It didn’t matter if that person was bad… it just felt icky. Ultimately, we got what we wanted at the end, but the road there was uhhh, just not for me

I’m gonna give this a solid 2.5 stars. Really interesting concept, I love paranormal themes so that was great. However, the plot became really tedious and convoluted towards the end.

When it comes to the MC Leeds…i get it, I understand it, but I can’t help but dislike him. I want to say he redeems himself … but does he really? Or did the plot just save him? Idk. I love that Colleen is able to play with my emotions and make me question everything.

Is it worth the read? Idk. Maybe.
