I really enjoyed this one! He’s protective and a bit possessive from the first look! Poor guy is trying to be a gentleman and do things properly for her and things keep getting in his way to get spicy with her. But when then do it’s 🥵. Not much of it in this book it’s more focused on the storyline and I love this plot! It’s a who dun it/found family. The only think I wasn’t thrilled about was they started out at the sisters castle and o my traveled to check on her friend because their sister insisted but then she’s not mentioned again. So that was a bit strange but was so good besides that.

May I just say: AAAAAAHHHHHH THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!! The dynamic between lovers and family is so sweet and such a joy. The brothers are such a riot, I can't get enough. One of the highlights of the series, 100%. The couple is so perfect for each other, and I feel like you get to see a lot of the family and a bit of the mystery that Sands likes to put in her novels. This is just a peak performance of that perfect Lynsay Sands equation.

such a great story with plenty of drama and action and i loved the romance that developed between Niels and Edith. Looking forward to watching more of these Buchanan boys fall in love and lose their hearts.

Hands down the most hilarious innocent bride doesn’t know what to do on the wedding night scene I’ve ever read. I had to put it down because I was laughing so hard there were tears.

Love this series for what it is. One thing I will always appreciate about this series are the external conflicts the couple faces. I personally do get tired with "will they/won't they" stories because the couple has unresolved issues. I know this is something that is very accurate to real life but I do get tired of these conflicts. So I appreciate this series because sometimes we need an evil long lost relative or a spurned ex lover meddling from the shadows. The stories might seem repetitive after a while though.
