This one was fun, cute, and easy to read. A nice beach read or low-commitment weekend read with some fun characters that were easy to like.

Thank you NetGalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing & the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This book was a breath of fresh air! The cover is perfection and the story is so fun! I love a good lighthearted romcom and this book gave me the feel-goods and laughter all the way through. Violet and Matt are perfect flaws and all. I loved their story throughout the book.

If you love a fun & witty story with an enemies to lovers trope like me—you’ll devour up this book. The slow burn was perfection; not too slow (just right

ngl… i went into this book w/ high hopes. mainly bc i was deciding b/w this book & another book for my next read & even read amazing reviews but i was sadly disappointed :/

violet (or violetta) & matt were the two main leads. violet sacrificed her dreams to move to another city w/ her then-bf greg (who btw gives me the biggest ick for how he treated violet) & after getting broken up w/, she decided to continue her education & actually pursue fashion designing. she lands an internship in rome w/ two fellow classmates (marco & holly) & has a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from an established company, while tasked w/ coming up w/ her own designs to hopefully snag 1st place amongst the three friends.

upon arriving in rome w/ marco, violet & him decide to take a break from walking so violet waits @ a coffee shop but realizes there’s not a lot of tables available. she finds one in the middle of the room but in her haste, in addition to having a bulky suitcase from coming off the plane, she has a clumsy incident & crashes into a guy’s table… aka matt… & she quite literally spills his coffee everywhere AND broke his laptop
