Faked me out about 70% of the way through since I thought it was done. At some parts it felt drawn out but the setting and atmosphere was very spooky and the characters were well written.

Really interesting premise, based on a combo of the Chicago World’s Fair, Jewish mythology, and m/m romance. However, pacing slow at times and I occasionally struggled to keep reading (at one point I thought the story was finished only to realize I had a third of it left). Pacing picks up after and the conclusion is worth hanging on for.
