Some good bits and some not. I wish it was more about finding inner strength rather than magic only. And spiders don’t work well as familiars for Australians.

This book was cute with some spooky scenes.

After a break up Annie moves from her apartment in New York City to the small village of Rowan. Here she struggles with finding herself, but with the help of her new friend Sophie she starts to see the light or rather the magic.

I feel like Cackle touched on how society has created this image that women have to get married or be with someone to be happy. That they can’t be happy being single and alone.

Ralph stole the show and made the book enjoyable!

This was such a fun spooky season read. Deliciously dark & full of female power.
