This was a book for sure.
A nice romance sub-plot, a little unreliable narrator-y in the worst way though and a good, if a little predictable towards the reveal, plot twist.
All in all, I think I was a little older than the intended audience but a fun, easy read nonetheless.

Plot was so predictable
It was just a bit shocking that he wanted to frame them i thought they were all there but accident but I knew it was a suicide, but gotta admit i didn’t blink an eye at Jake so that he was helping Simon was also shocking
This was the most popular book in my school library last year - so popular that, despite wanting to read it since April, I only got my hands on it now.
One of Us is Lying is a realistic-mystery-drama that I thought was well constructed and kept the reader guessing as to just what had happened - and who the killer really was. Some of the twists I had guessed, and others definitely surprised me! I did find myself wishing that there had been less emphasis on romance, but enjoyed the book regardless. Can absolutely see the appeal to readers 13+ and will be interested to read [b:Two Can Keep a Secret|40099425|Two Can Keep a Secret|Karen M. i loved it so much! the mystery is great, the characters are great... it’s overall just fun to read. you really want to read further and finish the story. the first time i read it, it took me one day til i was finished! it’s one of my favorites books i’ve ever read. i can’t wait to read part two of this :)
Sooo good. Multiple narrators. So much going on, but not confusing. Love it, loved the ending.
Read it, but better yet...listen to it!
