Don’t ask me what was happening for 75% of this book.

Once again, Brandon Sanderson did not disappoint! Love this modern/industrialized take on the world of mistborn. The ending was fabulous and was the perfect cliffhanger to leave me dying for the next one. There is a reason Brandon Sanderson is my favorite author. He is simply sublime.

A lot of fun. Not to the scale of some of the previous Mistborn books so I hesitate to give it the same rating as those, but did just great for what it was. I found myself really confused at how metal compounding worked in this book. It felt like that wasn’t how it was in the earlier books, but I might just have to read those again.

Fun story though!

Less lore/epic conclusion than I’m used to in a Sanderson book, but I thought the pace was a lot faster than the usual as well and I had fun reading!
