The thought of a baby switch is horrifying but this psychological thriller definitely ramped it up! This was so disturbing and made me feel incredibly angsty- in a “this is so disturbing but I can’t put it down” kind of way. I read this in a day, it’s a completely enthralling story that left me frantically turning pages. This was messed up, frustrating, and completely unputdownable! My thanks to the publisher for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review. 3.5⭐️

Much like blood orange I think this book is marketed wrongly. It’s not much of a thriller. It actually lack suspense. But it’s a really good read. I’d say it’s more of a drama with thriller hints

7.5/10 The first part of the book took a little while to get invested in the characters and the story but then the story really picked up and completely changed my mind and it ended up really drawing me in.

So good!! This book was unputdownable and so fun to read, I was completely engrossed.
Imagine if you opened your door one day to find out that the beautiful child you have been raising and whom you love so very much, is not actually yours? Wow!
I enjoyed this read. It was a fabulously well written domestic thriller that touches on a bit of everything including narcissism, bullying and psychopathic tendencies. It was action packed, full of twists and turns, and realistic, while also pulling at my heart strings.
I recommend this for any thriller lover, you’ll definitely find it totally engrossing! Now I’m excited to read J.P. Delaney’s other books!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I didn't have this on my tbr and then a bunch of people told me how amazing it was! This book did not disappointed and I was thrilled the whole way through!
What would you do if you found our your two year old wasn't actually your child, and you find out your real child was switched in the hospital? My heart was beating the whole entire time because I had no clue what the outcome was going to be, and I couldn't believe how psychotic some of the characters were! This is definitely a must read for a thriller lover.

My first impressions of this author was not good from a previous book.
However this was totally different. Punchy. Short chapters. Kept you enthralled.
I found the subject in comfy with having children of my own and couldn’t help but think about how I would feel in this situation
I loved how it ended! Overall a good book.

A solid thriller with some interesting twists, but a bit over the top for my taste.
A tale of two boys swapped at birth, and their parents' ensuing battle to resolve the situation.
It starts with the moment the switch is revealed so there's no tedious buildup.
There are a few twists and turns as the story progresses, some of which are more easily predictable than others.
The court documents interspersed throughout were a nice touch, helping make clear from fairly early on that not everyone is who they want the world to think they are.
I didn't love the ending, I thought it wrapped everything up a bit too neatly, really.
A good, readable story but not one I can get over excited about hence the three stars (I was hovering between 3 and 4 so I suppose it's really 3.5 stars if that was an option).
