It's the kind of thing where the idea of it is what's funny - not the actual product.

First sentence (Little red riding hood)
There once was a young person named Red Riding Hood who lived with her mother on the edge of a large wood.
[One day her mother asked her to take a basket of fresh fruit and mineral water to her grandmother's house not because this was womyn' s work, mind you, but because the deed was generous and helped engender a feeling of community.]
Gotta love satire, it has managed to make these fairy tails even more insulting.
Did get somewhat boring after 2 stories

This book was odd it promotes murder and discrimination.I found a few to be funny but the original message of the fairy tail gt changed. that and the way it says murder is ok was a bit shocking.
