Overall I don't think it was very original, but I enjoyed reading about all the experiments and it was certainly a nice read.
Meh. Interesting, but nowhere near the can't-put-it-down read of the first one.
I'm inspired by this book to think harder and more differently than I usually do. Loved the stories and examples they used to get their points across. The book read like a podcast.
I have enjoyed all their books and this one was another great book. One of the author's narrated and his voice and pacing made for easy, enjoyable reading. Highly recommend! You too will "think like a freak" after listening to it!

Entertaining, but as others have noted if you are actually a real fan of these guys, you likely listen to their podcast...which means about 90% of this are things you've heard already.
Great and fun book to read if you're interested in psychology and economics. As a fan of the freakonomics podcast and previous books I was not disappointed in book which is exactly in the same style as the Levitt's and Dubner's previous work. In fact I found it to be more illuminating as this book was more direct in the learnings and how to have a "freakonomics" mindset. Many of the examples has been featured on the podcast already though so there's not anything new other than a reordering and a broader narrative but I would still recommend this.
Not much new material if you're a regular listener of Freakonomics Radio. Recommended nonetheless.
The actual audiobook is just over 5 hours, but the book also has 2 hours worth of podcast at the end.
