Don't think anyone will end up thinking smarter with this book, but contains a lot of interesting figures and cases. Lapped it up quick.

Nowhere near as good as their previous two books. More a collection of anecdotes and stories around general management-type phrases. Quick read though, and fairly entertaining.

Listened via audiobook. I liked all of the interesting stories that were shared as part of the greater "teachings". I think this book will help me approach thinking and problem-solving with a broader strategy.

nothing new
but enjoyed reading it anyway

I picked this up from the library on a whim and was not disappointed. I have not read the books which preceded Think Like a Freak so I didn't have any expectations. It does seem short for a book of its kind but as a newcomer to freakonomics and freak-like thinking this was like a good movie preview. Now I want to read Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics.

Not as interesting as the other 2 books for me, still some things to think about
hopeful informative lighthearted

As interesting as all their books are! But some of it was repetitive or just obvious if you'd already listened to their two others. I'll still read their next anyway!

I loved this book. I chose it as an audiobook on a whim, thinking that I wouldn't emjoy it very much, but it beyond exceeded my expectations. This book made me really think deeper about incentives and why people do what they do.

Having read both this and Freakonomics, I actually believe that both are just as good (unfortunately have not had the chance to read Superfreakonomics). But Think like a Freak is somehow even more enjoyable and entertaining than its predecessor, perhaps as it is more in depth.
