It was a sweet book. I just need some more action. I also struggle with all the different stories. I’m not a shirt story kind of girl.

Love stories like this, interconnected short story style. It's been a long time since I've read a book that's hooked me so thoroughly at the beginning. The themes of loss and love were like a wool blanket wrapping around each character. The author would give you the pieces to draw your own conclusion, and I like that she trusted her readers to pick up the rest of the puzzle and arrange it as you saw it. I will definitely be reading more of Bauermeister !!

I loved the concept of this book and how some of the characters' stories intertwined over the years. The writing was just a little too literary for me to be fully immersed. I found myself skimming at times.
