Meh

As a lover of short stories I was less moved by this collection than I expected to be. Which disappointed me.

I’ve read better solo collections this year. And also have read better stories in magazines/newspapers. Disappointing.

I love a short story anthology. I read the stories one at a time, here and there when I have short snippets of time.

My favorites from this collection include:
The Happiest Days of Your Life
Dorchester
Seeing through Maps
Mall of America

This is the last edition that Heidi Pitlor, the series editor, will edit, so the introduction was largely about Heidi's departure.
