Stalker continues the Joona Linna series pretty serviceably but the cracks are starting to show after reading 4 books before this one. I kind of glazed over whenever hypnosis came back up, not sure why they went back to that well again. The rest of the book maintains equal parts action thriller, detective mystery, and erotic neo-noir. It would feel way more effective at maybe 2/3rds the length it runs.
