Great book!

I had a good time reading this. My only problem with it is that the end feels sort of ambiguous and unfinished. It seems more and more books are doing that these days and it drives me nuts.

Complex psycho drama/ crime novel. A panoply of chatacyrts, storylines, and twists.
dark emotional sad tense fast-paced

If I was a parent, this would be an incredibly difficult book to read. I was slightly disappointed with the ending but honestly, I’m not sure what a more appropriate ending would have been as all outcomes seem inadequate or horrible given the nature of the events.
When I was not reading it, I was wishing I had been. It really pulls you in.

I liked the writing style and devices overall. Didn't love the ending. Seemed rushed, which is the feeling I get from a lot of books, so maybe I'm just too critical.

A simple accident and a boy is dead. It is the consequences this book explores. It is heartbreaking and sad.

Interesting book but weak ending

Couldn't finish.

I really enjoyed Reservation Road, but I didn't like it quite as much as Northwest Corner. (I read them out of order.) Although the writing is amazing in both, it's really extraordinary in parts of Northwest Corner. I think Reservation Road would have been much more suspenseful (especially the ending) if I hadn't read the sequel first, so that's my own fault...
