I had a love hate relationship with this book. I loved reading about Kat and Heath’s story. As the book went on I found myself not wanting it to end and I did drag my feet a little trying to make it last longer. Although I didn’t like the ending, I can see this becoming a book I read again and again (which I rarely do).

Is this a romance novel? No. Is it the most addicting, high-stakes, attention gripping novel I've read in recent history? YES!  The drama and tension leaves you gripping the edge of your seat needing to turn to the next page in a way that will have you cancelling your plans for the day. It a messy toxic love story with ice dancing as the backdrop but it also has so much good tension and touching moments that leave you wanting more, I promise you will not be dissapointed. The only thing holding it back from a 5 star is the decisions made by two of the main characters were frustrating at times vs adding something to the story but I really recommend you add this to your list. Perfect book for fans of Daisy Jones and The Six!

Librarians, add this to all your Olympic reading lists! I love the comparison to Daisy Jones and the Six--I hope the audiobook version is full cast.....

I know nothing about ice dancing, but I was swept into all the drama. Those Russians! The backstabbing! The manipulating of the audience! It's all there and wonderful. Prepare to read this in one swoop because you'll want to know if Katerina Shaw and Heath Rocha end up with a Olympic gold medal. And if they end up happily ever after.
