I haven’t read a fairytale-like book this good in a long while. It’s ugly and intricate with a blurred morality code, which is best for this sort of thing. The women are strong and daring and get to make their own way.

Awesome story about humility, courage and healing. Julia Emelin does an excellent job reading this book. You can tell she loved the book and loved reading it.

A really interesting take on a magical universe - clearly based in Russia, not Germany or England, which was refreshing. A fun environment and an interesting story, with some odd(?) bits of teacher/student romance, if you're into that sort of thing.
