Heartfelt look at love in later years...
This character driven tale of second chance love starts out with a heart wrenching delivery for seventeen year old Blake, who gives up her baby so it will have a better life. Fast forward thirty years and the bio-mom and dad have devolved to acquaintances and total opposites. Blake and Gus are vividly portrayed with such depth I felt like I knew them and was rooting for them to get together. I devoured this story in one sitting feeling like I had visited Oak Glen California, been through a bit of turmoil but ended up with a huge smile. Great short read!
