I'm coming across quite a few picture books about art history. This one recounts the day when Las Meninas was revealed to the Infanta Margarita. Conceptually I like it, especially since I was lucky enough to see that particular painting when I visited Madrid last summer. But the text isn't particularly captivating, and it doesn't have much kid-appeal. Sadly, it goes.
