All of the usual humor of a Kate Daniels series book, even if Kate and Curran are sidelined in this one. This instalment begins the story of whatever happend to Julie, who has returned to Atlanta 8 years later.

I do wish the exposition pieces that are at the end of the book were at the beginning, I feel like they would have fit better there.

Absolute love for this new book that is related to my favorite Ilona Andrews series. Julie returns but she has changed. Derek returns and he is changed too. I just loved the interaction of these characters. I can't wait to read more
