One of the best books ever! Pulled me out of a deep reading slump and I literally couldn't put it down. There was always something happening and relationships were developed at a quick rate (but not too fast). So many plot twists.

I enjoyed Grace as a character. She didn’t back down most times, but she did when shit got serious. It made her feel real. I didn’t like the world building. I get the whole Grace doesn’t know so we don’t either, but towards the end it just felt like things were happening with no explanation as to why. I wish once Grace started to understand the world, that it was explained to us a little more. Also there were some continuity issues that would have me lost in the moment. There was one scene where they were on the roof and then Jaxon said they were in his room but then the were still on the roof. Maybe it was just me but I felt like things were out of place at times and it took me out of the story. I also hope there is more explanation about Grace in the second book because I feel like there was no foreshadowing as to her situation and it kind of just felt like it was dropped in our lap with no rhyme or reason.
