funny lighthearted slow-paced

I didn’t love this one as much as the others I have read so far just because their relationship didn’t seem as like gradual as the others.. it wasn’t a thing until like bam it all of a sudden was. It was still okay and I still enjoy the world they’re on.

A fluffy and fast read. Oaken is a giant marshmallow of a man, taking care of everyone he meets, and now that includes Jaya - an the adorable goat creature Nili! It was interesting to have a heroine who wasn't there as part of the bridal program, and to see how that new element would play out. I'm glad that Jaya and her cute helper bot have a home (even if the cover does make it look like Oaken's tail is a vine growing up her leg, haha).

ETA: and how could I forget, Oaken knits!! He makes socks for Jaya.
