I love Sierra Simone's writing and this is book is not exception however I have only given it 3 stars because I didn't know that it didn't have an ending. It literally just stops mid action and leaves you hanging so really it's purpose is as a hook to get you to buy the series.

Ivy had no prospect and she now has to live with her dead cousin’s husband only through his goodwill. 

Julian Markham, twice widowed both with questionable circumstances involving how they died. A man with a particular taste and a mysterious house, some may even say cursed. 

I am giving this a 3.5⭐️rating while spice gets a 4🌶️ rating. This is a good introduction to the series and the did he or did he not murder his previous wives plot is definitely something I am intrigued about. 

Will I continue the series? Heck yeah!
