Mi principal problema con este libro fue la narración. No me pude conectar porque no me encontraba con la forma de escribir del autor.
De todas formas, el contenido del libro fue desgarrador.

I have a few things to say about this book. At first I hated it. I even started reading it and stopped just to pick it up again because I didn’t know what to read next.

The first 50 pages (I agree with some reviews) are confusing. Many different events happening with no true connection between them, words floating instead of flowing. I didn’t know what was happening for a while.

However, this changed. All I can say is that it is worth reading. It is a book that I have learnt a LOT with. I’m so happy I picked it up again. The characters are very damn real, the way their thoughts are expressed is very unique, it truly described some interesting and terrible thoughts in such a way that I feel like I myself have learnt to think differently.

It is heartbreaking and heart warming at the same time. Is it the best Auschwitz inspired book? Probably not. Does their story deserve to be heard? 100% yes.

Brilliant book looking at how adults gave children hope in the concentration camps and how that also gave them help too.
Sometimes difficult to get into but keep at it as it's a brilliant book.

The theme to the book is obviously extremely sad and touching. However, I found there was no actual flow to the story and nothing linked. It was really hard to keep reading and an extreme struggle to read to the end
