I want the information at the top of each chapter about repair and care of old books as a full book. They are lovely, and do fit the time and points of each chapter. It got heavy at times but still a wonderful book .

This book was beautiful to read and listen to. I do wish Ashleyn and Ethan’s chemistry had more oomph especially since it seemed to lacking compared to Belle and Hemi’s story. But besides that this book was amazing.

What a ride!! I wasn't expecting the ending. I went through a whirlpool of emotions throughout this whole book.

This was such a beautiful story. The intertwining of each character played a vital role in how this story came together. By far my favorite book of the year, if not ever.

Very intriguing, mysterious and romantic. However, I just didn't connect with it and didn't want to rate it unfairly as it is written well and a good book for another time or someone else.

Maybe I'll pick it up again someday

A heartwarming, second-chance romance. The writing is top notch and the characters are deep and fully developed.

Those things aside, I didn't end up loving this book. Firstly, I wasn't a fan of the format. While I did like the present content, I found the epistolary-like story-within-a-story to be slow and distracting. It was an integral part of the book, but it just didn't jive for me. And second, the plot of the book felt stiflingly prosaic. It just didn't spark interest for me.

Great writing, but the whole thing just felt way too slow and pedestrian for my tastes.
