CAWPILE: 10/10 (maybe 9.5 for logic for 1 scene that felt a little weird)

i preferred this to Volume 1, possibly because i'd gotten used to seeing it in a graphic novel format. the end was very satisfying. i'm so happy for Iko and that we got to see her development

while the plot was okay, i loved seeing how the characters look! plus it sets up an enemies-to-lovers trope!

Well I definitely wasn't planning on rereading the graphic novels when I set out to reread the main series earlier last year, but couldn't resist some more fun with the characters. There's also nothing like finishing two books in one day, even if they're both graphic novels. I love that at the end of all the drama and action in both volumes of Wires and Nerve, it's all about the friendship and loyalty between the cast of characters. I love that this second volume focused a bit more on Scarlet and Wolf, who have always been my favourite couple, and that part of their plot also works into the epilogue in Something Old and Something New :) I wish that there was more graphic novels though, because the first one gave a lot of attention to Thorne and Cress and I would love to see some more content of Cinder and Kai and Winter and Jacin. That 's just the thing, there will never be enough of the Lunar Chronicles for me.
