really had to keep faith in the book to be sliding little unnoticeable hints and then pulling the rug from under the reader. This book did that well, while making the mundane set up feel tense through the paranoia of Pip. The ending serves as a good but optional prequel to the series but I would definitely read this after finishing book 1 at least.

This was a cute novella! Def not at all necessary for any context of the other books, but it was just a cute get together of all her friends. I will say…Ant is still absolutely insufferable! Not a must read tho.
