A fascinating tale that explores the battle between logic and religion in which there can only be one winner, a novel filled with fanciful characters fraught in their fight for freedom from capricious entities, this was super-fun and a great addition to Rushdie's ouvre.

Lost track of the book for a while. Need to restart it from the beginning.
adventurous medium-paced

Normally I really love Salman Rushdie but this just didn't work for me.

Fiction but reads like a non-fiction. Drags on and on and on. Couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
