Good conclusion
This. Has. Been. A. Journey. I don’t think I have been so dedicated to a series in awhile and it was very much worth it. From book 1 to 5 I feel like these characters have become close friends. With some series I need a refresher or I’ll forget some parts but I could remember everything in these books. While I’m sad this journey has ended, it was a well deserved HEA. I was even happier to learn that there is going to be a spin-off so we can visit some of those beloved character again. A lot happened in this book, and while many questions were answered, I feel there is still more to be told.
This felt like a slower book, even though storylines were being concluded and we had some epic battles. It’s a lot to take in and there are a lot of characters and different storylines happening at the same time. It did come together cohesively at the end but be sure to pay attention.
I loved these characters and I’m so happy I was able to follow their journeys. Congratulations Colette on another well done series!

Almost all of Colette’s books are an instant hit for me, and this one was no exception. It got me out of a serious bookslump!
Everything works out beautifully in this book, everyone has a role to play and plays it to perfection. What I love most about it, is that although there is a prophecy, there is bad stuff happening,… we also get to see these beloved characters just spending time with each other.
Even though the ending is a bit more on the simple side for a prophecy resolution (which I personally love), you can feel this is the way it was always supposed to end, and I in particular loved how there wasn’t needless suffering, everything had a goal!
