MMC is a rich arse at the beginning but has some strong character development.
FMC has a backbone which I liked.
I didn’t really like the ending but I understood it.
This book could have been shorter.

I cannot tell you how much I hated Zhur at first. Yes he came around but omg he was so annoying and Maeve was a saint for putting up with it. The scene with Nesskath though, I was laughing at all of Zhur’s commentary.
