It was OK to read but a weak follow on from the first one.

I didn't like this book... I didn't like the first book in the series either

I will say that the writing style of this book is much better and I found it much easier to read.
However the plot as a whole is pointless because it adds nothing to the original story and it's its own self-contained story
with this book there is a clear beginning middle and end and whilst it is a continuation of the first book it doesn't add anything to the experience of the first book so it was like a stand-alone but based on the same theme.

I'm not too happy with how it worked I prefer this to book one but I think maybe I enjoyed it more because it's a lot shorter so I didn't have to deal with it for as long.

Overall I'm extremely disappointed with this series

An ok addition to the book although slightly unsatisfying. I think, though, it might be because I have watched the TV show since reading the original book and now some of the story and characters in the book feel less "right". Not sure if I will pick up more of these "Book shots" or not.

Again, I enjoyed this story. I think I enjoyed this more than I would have if it was a full length novel. Even though it was short, it packed a punch. There was action and the stakes were raised and more personal. They did come up with a solution, but just when you think it's safe and nothing more to say, it's not. I'm curious if another bookshop will be added to wrap it all up or if it will end as it is. I'm completely okay with the open ending, sometimes it doesn't work. But it works here.

This book picks up several years after Zoo. At least that's what I gathered but I could be totally wrong. This book is extremely fast so its easy to miss stuff if you aren't really paying attention. I read this a part of a 24 hour readathon so I was able to focus my time on it and was able to finish it in one sitting and it took me just over 2 hours to get through it.

It's fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seats wondering what's going to happen next.

There was one thing in particular that immediately annoyed me and that was all the comments about how beautiful one of Dr. Oz's colleagues was. It was unnecessary for the story because nothing happens he just keeps commenting on it and how he doesn't want to go there because he is happily married. I rolled my eyes every time this happened which was a few times.

Also that ending. Ugh!! Does anyone know if there is going to be another book? If not then I am so annoyed. I hate cliffhangers and this one leaves off on a big cliffhanger.

A rare time my Hubby and I didn't see eye to eye. He hated this book and I wasn't even going to read it, but I needed a Z book and it's so short. It was fine, nothing great, but not the worst thing I ever read like it was for Him. 2.5 stars, it was meg, good but not great.
