I lived this book in the beginning. The first 70% actually but I just can’t get my head around the last bit of the book.

How can she actually forgive him for almost killing her!! She became deformed and lost her career and her body was scared! That part makes me low key sick but the first 70% was really good honest. Loved Ben up until that moment.

Horrible book, so problematic and full of red flags from both characters. This book should have a lower rating because of its content.

The plot itself has potential, but horrible writing. The characters were cringy and annoying. We hardly learn anything about them until the very end and honestly i couldn't care less by then. The dialogue between the two characters is hard to get through without cringing and the fact he dated his sister in law really did it for me.
Also, Benton is the worst name ever.

I loved the premise of the book - only reading snapshots of the main characters’ lives; secrets and the past only unravelling when they choose to share them with the reader or each other. I loved witnessing Fallon learn to love herself, through Ben’s unwavering amazement of her. Two people learning to forgive each other and themselves, despite their pasts, and love each other, without letting their goals become excuses to keep them apart.
