Pretty predictable plot, with some drops off twist every now and then.

I felt uncomfortable reading about the things Ben does to Fallon. There are a lot of parts where he touches Fallon without consent and it is portrayed as romantic. Ben also seems to be obsessed about Fallon’s panties for some reasons. It makes me cringe.

The reason I did not rate this a 1-star is because there are some parts I genuinely liked. At some point, I started to believe that Ben actually does love Fallon, but Ben has to act all creepy and make me lose all interest in rooting for him.

Overall, I rate this 1.75 stars. I hope her next books does not romanticize assault like this one. Such a bummer, the author’s writing style is my type, but the story is just WHACK.

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions and I will need some time to recover. WOW! First CoHo book I’ve ever read and it hath absolutely shook me. You will feel so many things reading this and the highs and lows will be absolutely devastating. TW for suicide. It does happen off page but the discovery of the deceased happens ON PAGE. Know this going in. This one…is going to stick with me for a long long while. Officially a CoHo fan!

I’m sorry WHAT?! This book has the perfect amount of plot twists. Reading the reviews I thought I knew what the plot twist everyone was talking about was but I was absolutely SHOCKED i didn’t see it coming!!!

My experience of November 9 was not nearly as positive as ready IEWU, Verity and especially Ugly Love. I followed the reviews of ready Ugly Love before Nov 9 and I was severely disappointed. I felt this book was very slow to begin with and then felt rather rushed within the end Nov 9. It is certainly not CoHos best book.
