A Kind of Spark universe is the Heartstopper for autistics. The show and books are beyond finding the right words important. As much as I wish this representation was available in the 90s, I'm relieved that they exist now. That when my autistic kid is struggling in middle grade I can hand her these books and watch the show with her to let her know that I'm her Keedie in a sense.
