Skimmed.

I don’t have many mother issues. But I appreciate the point that patriarchy creates mother wounds that manifest culturally and in our specific families. And that healing mother-daughter relationships advances the demise of patriarchy.

There's a lot to resonate with and many thought-provoking questions to reflect on. The author lost me towards the end as things started to feel repetitive and disengaging, especially when themes of spirituality started to overshadow practical guidance.

This book definitely gave me food for thought but I've realised I have no interest in finish it. I feel that the book's message is communicated in the first few chapters and then it becomes a little bit like the author just complaining about their life. An important message but convoluted delivery.
